The cabin sleeps up to 6 guests. There is one king bedroom, one twin single bedroom, and a queen bed in the loft (accessed via ladder).

The cabin can work for families, however please note there is a creek nearby and the loft is accessed via ladder. Close supervision is required for younger children.

The Loop is a mostly forest walk with natural, uneven terrain in places. Good footwear is recommended as mossy rocks can be slippery.
The short loop includes one good climb, the longer loop includes two good ascents. Also there are creek crossings for both tracks so you may well get wet feet depending on the time of year...
Access to the sauna via the track may be closed during heavy rain for safety reasons.

We’re located by car approximately 10–15 minutes from Moeraki Village and the Moeraki Boulders, and around 5 minutes from SH1 near Hampden.

Yes, linen and bath towels are provided for all guests.

Yes, Wi-Fi is available in the cabin, instructions are available in the guest book. That said, many guests enjoy switching off during their stay.

Mobile coverage can vary depending on your provider. Wi-Fi calling is recommended if you rely on reception.

The cabin has a wood burner for cosy winter evenings, along with insulation to keep the space comfortable year-round.

Yes, firewood is supplied for the wood burner, hot tub, and sauna.

The hot tub is heated using firewood. Instructions are provided in the cabin, and it typically takes a few hours to reach temperature depending on conditions.

The wood-fired sauna sits beside the creek and is accessed via the walking track. A guide is provided in the cabin to help you get started safely and enjoy the full experience. Instructions for the sauna will be in the guest book and at the sauna.

Yes, guests are welcome to enjoy the creek. Access is via a stile over the fence. Follow the signs
Please note water levels vary seasonally and care should always be taken.

As this is a working farm pets are not allowed.

The cabin is cosy in all weather. However, access to the walking track and sauna may be temporarily closed during heavy rain for safety reasons.

Yes, Hampden (5 minutes away) has a general store, takeaway options, café and pub. Moeraki Village (10–15 minutes) offers dining and fishing charters.
Oamaru is 30 mins away for access to supermarkets, pharmacy etc..
